WHAT WE DO

Meet Our Team:
Kristopher Magana is the piano instructor and studio manager here at Happy Sound Music. Kristopher has been working as a music instructor for 6 years both in Southern California and the Central Valley. With a Bachelor's in music, he also enjoys composing music in his free time. As well as being an expert music instructor he is also an avid photographer. During his downtime, you will likely find him traveling and exploring California's natural scenery and rural setting.

Fernando has been working with students of all ages for 5 years through the after school program. Growing up primarily in the Central Valley, he helped revive the guitar program at his high school and co-founded the school's guitar club. Fernando is always looking for new and creative ways to inspire students by catering to each student's goals individually. In his downtime, Fernando likes to have lazy days watching films and taking scenic drives up in the hills.
Lucia Fonseca
Vocal Instructor & Studio Assistant
Lucia Fonseca, originally from Riverdale, has over 10 years of singing experience. Lucia graduated from Fresno State with a BA in music emphasis on Vocal performance. Her favorite music experience was volunteering in a choir to sing at homeless shelters and veteran homes. She spends her free time learning new skills, exercising, and reading in her free time.
Andrew Powell
Guitar Instructor
With over 17 years playing guitar and his time aiding students at Fresno City College, Andrew Powell has the experience to educate and improve your ability to play music. Andrew is certified in Commercial Music and is using his free time to compose music while, at the same time, obtaining his associate's degree.
Luis Corralejo
Piano Instructor
Originally from Exeter, CA, Luis is pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education at Fresno State University. He is involved with the Fresno State Bands, the Percussion Studio, as well as Red Wave Indoor. He has a ton of love and passion for music and the performing arts that blossomed from performing in the Chamber Choir, Marching Band, and Jazz Band throughout high school. In his free time, you may also find him studying new languages or working with animals!
Evelyn Sarahi
Accordion Instructor
Eveyln comes from a family tree of musicians. Introduced to music at an early age, her parents taught her how to play various instruments. At 12 years old she decided to focus on the accordion as her primary instrument. Evelyn grew up listening to tejano and norteñas and is a focused regional Mexican musician. Evelyn aims to inspire young women to follow their dreams and stay connected to their roots through her music.
